One person who is a well known expert in comparative law is Sujit Choudhry. He is a legal educator who has spent most of his career teaching law at various law schools in both Canada and the United States. Sujit Choudhry has also spent some portion of his career working for the government. When he first began his career, Sujit worked for the Canadian Supreme Court. This allowed him to work under the head of the court which gave him valuable experience learning the legal framework of Canada. During this time, he gained a considerable amount of knowledge about Canada’s constitution which would allow him to teach constitutional law at the University of Toronto.
